Interlude is an adapted choreography for the site of MAGO B, that engages an abandoned watermill through a series of works that were developed in relation to the buildings history. A score for eight performers was drawn in chalk on the floor of the space while various objects from the abandoned site, i.e., transmitter radios, phones, and theatre chairs, were employed to create new sculptural works. These objects were animated by means of exciter amplifiers, porcelain spoons wrapped around objects and left to dry, and accompanied by a single-channel video. Blending with the sounds of the waterfall just outside the building, the audience is invited to inhabit the space as a stage of their own.
